Graduation Requirements
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS (725.04)
(For students in the classes of 2005 to present)

The administration and professional staff shall establish a system of grading, develop procedures of reporting academic achievement to parents and students, and determine when the requirements for graduation have been met. Beginning with the graduating class of 2005 a student must take the PSAE (Prairie State Achievement Exam) as part of graduation requirements.

Units - Courses
4.0 - English
2.5 - Social Science (including American History taken during the junior year and one semester of American Government in senior year) and passing the U. S. Constitution exam (may be waived if student enrolls in the American Government Simulated Legislature)
3.0 - Mathematics
3.0 - Sciences
1.0 - Applied Technology or 2 Units of the same Modern Language
1.0 - Fine Arts
0.5 - Consumer Education
0.5 - Health
3.5 - P.E. (unless exempt see page 48 of the Curriculum Guide)
1.0 - Freshman Seminar for students in the Prairie State Program

TOTAL CREDITS REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION: 22
