Message from the Principal - Mr. Joe Gunty

Morton West Parents/Guardians/Community Members,

Now that the celebrations from graduation have waned and we look forward to sending our Morton West graduates out into the world, I am grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the many achievements of the faculty and students at Morton West High School. Fifty one years after opening our doors we are still dedicated to preparing our students for lifelong learning after graduation. This year our Advanced Placement program served more students than it ever has. Grants for new technology, access to ACT preparation, and summer bridge programs are now available to us. Our seniors finished the year with many honors including academic and athletic scholarships too numerous to list here. I encouraged you to take a look at all of the achievements and opportunities our students have by logging on to the Morton West website through the District 201 website at www.jsmortonhs.com.

Very truly yours,

Mr. Joe Gunty
Principal
